Today, we’d like to offer our sincere thanks to the April Fund for its recent generous grant to support Imagine!’s Out & About Thank Goodness Its Saturday (TGIS) program.
TGIS recognizes that sometimes parents need a break, too, and offers fun activities for parents and providers while also providing Out & About's usual therapeutic recreational activities for their children - both regular attendees of Out & About and their siblings. The events for adults are free of charge and run the duration of the children's activity. The drop-off and pick-up location for the children's event will be the same location as the parents' event, providing a hassle-free transition and easy access to both activities.
The April Fund exists to impact our local, national and global community by making charitable donations to non-profit organizations in the areas of the environment, health and human services, education, civic responsibility and the arts.
