Thank You, Collins Foundation

Today we’d like to offer our thanks to the Collins Foundation for its recent grant of $2,000 to Imagine! to support our Dayspring Community Calendar Activities.

Dayspring’s Community Calendar Activities (CCA) program is a valuable expansion of the early intervention therapies provided by the division. CCA brings children aged birth to three with developmental delays into a variety of recreational, educational, and fitness activities, free of charge. Dayspring’s Pediatric Occupational Therapist, Early Childhood Special Educator, Speech Therapist, and/or Mental Health Therapist work with the children and their parents to encourage motor, sensory, social/emotional, cognitive, and/or speech/language development.

The Collins Foundation was established by William Ray Collins and Ruth E. Collins for charitable, religious, and educational purposes and organizations within Boulder County, Colorado. Mr. and Mrs. Collins were residents of Boulder, and they were co-owners of a clothing and shoe store. Mrs. Collins died on May 22, 1978, and Mr. Collins died on June 11, 1981.

The Collins Foundation is managed by Wells Fargo Bank.

Thank You, Splash Bash Volunteers

Thanks to the volunteers who made last week’s “Splash Bash” (hosted by Imagine!’s Dayspring department), such a rousing success. Volunteers included staff members of Unself and members of the National Charity League.

What is Splash Bash? It is a community event designed to offer fun and learning sensory experiences to young kids with developmental delays and disabilities. But it wasn’t just youngsters getting wet – Imagine! CEO Mark Emery even joined in on the fun! Check out the pictures below.

Thank You, April Fund

Today, we’d like to offer our sincere thanks to the April Fund for its recent generous grant to support Imagine!’s Out & About Segue program.

The goal of the Segue program is to provide transition support for young adults (ages 16-24) from childhood to adulthood. Segue combines aspects of both Out & About’s Children’s Service programs and adult community outings to encourage independence, work on financial skills, and develop social relationships among peers.

The April Fund exists to impact our local, national and global community by making charitable donations to non-profit organizations in the areas of the environment, health and human services, education, civic responsibility and the arts.

Thank you, April Fund, for supporting Imagine!’s mission of creating a world of opportunity for all abilities.
