A Very Zolo Thanksgiving

Last Thursday, hundreds of individuals served by Imagine! and their families enjoyed an amazing Thanksgiving meal due to the generosity of Dave Query, Big Red F Restaurants, and Zolo Grill.

Everyone had a marvelous time, and the turnout was fantastic. Several family members made a point to say how much this event means to them.

Thank you, thank you, thank you to all who helped to make this happen, especially the Zolo (and other Big Red F restaurants) staff members who volunteered their time and effort, to Imagine!’s volunteer coordinator Elizabeth Hill, who did a great job coordinating the event on Imagine!’s side, and to the many other volunteers who gave up some of their holiday time to help out at this fantastic event.

Below are a few pictures of the event and the wonderful folks who volunteered.

Thank You Thursday

On this day of thanks, we would like to say “thank you” to:

The people we serve: They inspire and teach us every single day.

Our employees: Dedication and passion abound among staff members at every level of Imagine!. They are difference makers in the very best ways.

Our donors: The continued and generous support of those who contribute financially to our mission allows us to offer services above and beyond what our traditional (and frequently shrinking) funding sources allow.

Our volunteers: Imagine! volunteers share their time and talent directly with the people Imagine! serves and with projects of all sizes, increasing the quality of support and services we are able to provide.

Our community: We are so fortunate to live in a community that embraces the individuals we serve and the work we do. We couldn’t have reached the level of success we have without our community’s demonstrated commitment to an inclusive world.

You: Whatever your association with Imagine! is, if you are reading this right now we thank you for your interest in creating a world of opportunity for people of all abilities.

Today, we’d like to offer our sincere thanks to Dave Query, who is once again treating Imagine! consumers and their families to a traditional turkey dinner on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 24, 2016. This is the 13th year Query has hosted this event, which will again be at Zolo Southwestern Grill, 2525 Arapahoe Avenue, Boulder.

There are three seatings, and all three have filled up already! In all, more than 350 people will benefit from Dave's amazing generosity.

Dave Query is the owner of Big Red F Restaurant Group, including restaurants Centro Latin Kitchen, Jax Fish House – Boulder, Denver, Fort Collins, Glendale, and Kansas City, LoLa Coastal Mexican, Post Brewing Company, West End Tavern, and Zolo Grill.

Query is donating the makings for a delicious dinner with all the trimmings, and the wait staff is volunteering its time. There is no charge for the meal, and no tips are necessary.

MOOV's Second Annual "Kettlebells For Charity" To Support Imagine!

MOOV is hosting its Second Annual Kettlebell Swing-a-Thon on Dec. 10, 2016, to raise money for Imagine!. Once again, the good folks at MOOV will be supporting Imagine! in this fun and challenging way.

Last year they raised over $4,150 for Imagine!, and you are encouraged to help them reach their goal this year. They tell us they’re going to add some flair this go round by changing up some of the rules and kettlebell movements. Details of this event are coming soon, so mark your calendars!

Learn more and sign up to participate here.

MOOV was born out of boredom with the normal gym experience and a love for functional fitness and alternative therapies, and was founded by a team of fitness enthusiasts who wanted more from their training. This event clearly demonstrates their creativity, in addition to their commitment to their community.
