Thank You, Boulder Knights of Columbus Council 1183

On Wednesday, February 19, the Boulder Knights of Columbus Council 1183 made a generous donation of $1,000 to Imagine!’s Dayspring department for their Community Calendar Activities, which allows Dayspring therapists to provide therapies to children and their families in a community setting.

The Boulder Knights have now donated a total of $15, 912. 23 to Imagine! from funds raised by their Annual Tootsie Roll Drive. Pictured is Dick Bryant, Chairman of the Boulder Knights of Columbus Tootsie Roll Drive, presenting the check to Julie Hartman, Dayspring Director.

Thanks to the King Soopers at 3600 Table Mesa Drive, the Safeway stores at 3325 28th Street and 4800 East Baseline Road; and three Catholic Churches: Sacred Heart of Jesus , Sacred Heart of Mary, and St. Martin de Porres for allowing the Knights to conduct their Fall 2013 Tootsie Roll Drive at their churches and stores.

In addition to supporting Imagine!’s Dayspring department, the Boulder Knights of Columbus Council 1183 made a $1,000 donation to Mental Health Partners for their Chinook Clubhouse, a program dedicated to enhancing the recovery of men and women with mental illnesses with a focus on employment.

Thank you, Boulder Knights of Columbus Council 1183, for your continued support of our community!

Support Imagine!'s Out & About Centre Stage Program

Imagine!’s Out & About Centre Stage Program needs your help!

Can’t see the video? Click here

Click here to donate, and learn more below!

Imagine!’s Out & About Catalog Program offers a variety of classes and one-time events for older teens and adults with developmental disabilities in a community setting.

Out & About’s Centre Stage activity began four years ago and has become a favorite in our community. Centre Stage works this way: class participants get the opportunity to learn the basics of theater. Each activity focuses on integral aspects of theater production, including acting, singing, dancing, choreography, set and costume design, and lighting. Throughout this class, participants work together to create an original and unique stage production. At the end of the class, the group performs its show before a live audience.

Why We Need Your Help:

Over the past few years, the number of participants in the Catalog Program and Centre Stage has increased, but our budget has remained the same. We hope to continue to offer Centre Stage to everyone who would like to enroll. Our intention is to run Centre Stage as an authentic, professional production as much as possible and we need your assistance in order to keep up with the rising costs of this popular activity.

Costs include:
  • Performance facility rental
  • Costumes
  • Props
  • Set Designs
  • Facilitation/Director Fees
All donations will go directly to the Out & About Catalog program, which puts on the Centre Stage production each year.

Please help us continue to provide the opportunity for our participants and their families.

Thank You, Collins Foundation

Today we’d like to offer our sincere gratitude to the Collins Foundation, managed by Wells Fargo.

We recently learned that the Collins Foundation is providing a $2,000 grant to Imagine!’s Bob and Judy Charles SmartHome. The Collins Foundation has been a longtime and consistent support of our SmartHomes project. They've given seven grants to the Bob and Judy Charles SmartHome totaling $20,500.

Even before our SmartHomes were opened, the Collins Foundation has supported Imagine!’s mission to provide community opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Prior to the seven grants for the SmartHomes, they had given seven other grants to Imagine!. In total, they have given us $40,900!

Wow! We are so thankful!
