The Imagine! Foundation's blog is designed to keep donors, consumers and their families, colleagues, and friends up to date on recent donations, grants we've received, programs we're involved in, and the people who make the Foundation work. We hope you will suggest topics you would like to see here. We look forward to hearing from you!
Today, we’d like to offer our congratulations to Wiland, Inc., a leading marketing intelligence company serving many of the nation's top companies and organizations, on being honored Wednesday with a Community Appreciation Award from the Longmont Area Economic Council.
Imagine! Foundation Executive Director Patti Micklin nominated Wiland for this prestigious award because of their dedicated support of Imagine!. Here’s part of what she wrote in her nomination:
This past fall, Imagine! Foundation Board of Directors Past President Leona Stoecker took some of Wiland’s key employees on a tour of the programs Imagine! provides in Longmont as a point of introduction. Their enthusiasm was sparked and they made Imagine!’s work their personal cause! Wiland became a Silver Sponsor at January’s Imagine! Celebration. In addition, they held an employee event to raise money for Imagine!, and matched every dollar that Wiland employees contributed. They did not stop there! We shared our wish list with Wiland, and their employees showed up with boxes of donations that touched the lives of hundreds of the individuals we serve!
Congratulations, Wiland, for receiving this well-deserved recognition. Thank you for your support of Imagine! and your community.

Josie Heath, President of the Community Foundation Serving Boulder County, spoke about community coming together, and Boulder District Attorney Stan Garnett shared his lessons learned. All of the speakers honored the Tuneberg family for their strength and determination.
Aaron's mother, Gale Boonstra, shared her hope for Aaron’s legacy – that we all become more mindful of the needs, as well as the potential, of adults with disabilities, and that we do whatever we can to help these individuals and their families. She shared a video about Aaron, and we wanted you to see it and invite you to share it with your friends and loved ones.
